With extensive interface design and design management experience, David co-founded TandemSeven and is responsible for shaping the company’s design capability. Additionally, he is the driving force behind TandemSeven’s mission to ensure the company provides its clients with outstanding user experiences, starting with a user-centered foundation and extending all the way through to a seamless brand experience across all points of interaction. His strong focus on delivering high quality, intuitive user experiences has enabled the company to build an impressive client list.
David’s industry expertise spans distribution, financial services, insurance, media, pharmaceutical, retail and software companies. He has led major design projects for global business portals and web-based applications with numerous clients, including 1-800-FLOWERS.com, Arbella Insurance, Bloomberg L.P., Citigroup, FXall, GMAC-RFC, Hasbro and Network Solutions.
Prior to TandemSeven, David was a principal in ZEFER's experience design group. He led design efforts for several groundbreaking, Web-based portal applications, and grew the design group from 18 to 50 people. Before that, David co-founded Ark Studios and served as the company’s president and creative director. Ark Studios received numerous awards for interactive kiosk, Web and multimedia applications. As associate professor, David taught information design at the Rhode Island School of Design where he earned a BFA in Industrial Design. He also earned a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
