The Challenge
As Hasbro's product lines and distribution channels continued to grow, the need to analyze sales information was extremely important. The company was outgrowing its legacy point-of-sales reporting system that was built with a tool set enabling only single-user access. Hasbro needed to transform this application using Web-based design to provide global, multi-company reporting. Additionally, scalability and security features were critical to expanding to a global "data mart."

The Solution
Hasbro selected TandemSeven based on two main factors: 1) the company's significant expertise in designing highly usable applications and portals, and 2) its hands-on experience with the SAP BW and BW Web-based tools.

The TandemSeven team used their own user-centered design methodology to work with the subject matter experts at Hasbro. Their unique role-based design approach and usability-driven design process brought together Hasbro's business users' needs and IT requirements in a comprehensive design for one of the company's most important business applications.

The Results
TandemSeven designed a highly effective user interface, providing internal Hasbro analysts, managers and executives with a valuable sales analysis application. In addition, the performance of the application met the highest standards possible on Hasbro's SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) business intelligence platform.
