The Challenge
In order to launch LeapFrog’s new Tag product to teachers prior to Summer school break, LeapFrog School needed a new, highly interactive Web site that demonstrated the products’ teaching capabilities as well as quick ways for teachers to purchase their classroom packages.

The Solution
LeapFrog School engaged TandemSeven to design a microsite ( www.tagschoolreader.com ) and accompanying Flash demo for teachers, administrators and principals. The project encompassed sound, copy, animation, visual design and code deliverables. To meet the tight deadline, TandemSeven’s team worked in parallel tracks. The visual design group quickly created a design that extended the brand to an online experience for the microsite while the design and Flash development teams used storyboards and visual concepts to create an interactive demo. The microsite and demo leveraged rich internet application components, including Flash, Ajax and DHTML, and the new site structure was built to accommodate increased monitor resolutions. Overall acceptance of the design was gained rapidly and received approval for the Phase 1 launch.

The Results
 The Tag School Reader microsite and Flash demo was recently named a Silver winner in the 8th Annual Horizon Interactive Awards competition. The new microsite and animated demo enables LeapFrog School’s customers to explore and see how the actual product interacts with children. Additionally, the intuitive user interface enables teachers to quickly and easily shop for the best package type for their classrooms. As a result, LeapFrog School anticipates achieving their goal of increasing sales for LeapFrog School’s latest product.
